Terms of Service

Terms.

Last updated May 1, 2026. These are the operating terms of the Predict Law subscription. Plain-English summary first; the formal terms follow.

Plain-English summary

  • $499/month, monthly billing, cancel anytime. See pricing.
  • 14-day free trial, no credit card at signup. If you don't keep the account, we don't bill.
  • The model is a statistical estimator, not legal advice. Predictions are estimates of likely settlement value, not legal opinions on case viability. The attorney owns the legal judgment.
  • Plaintiff-only is contractual. Subscribers agree that the service is for plaintiff-side personal injury legal work. We reserve the right to terminate any account used on the defense or carrier side.
  • You own your case data. Predict has no claim on customer case data. We use it to run predictions; you can export or delete at any time. See privacy.

1. The service

Predict Law (the "Service") is a software-as-a-service platform that produces statistical case-valuation predictions for plaintiff personal injury legal work. The Service is operated by Mudita Studios on behalf of predict.law. Use of the Service is governed by these Terms; by signing up, you agree to them.

2. Eligibility and plaintiff-only commitment

The Service is intended for use by licensed attorneys, paralegals working under licensed-attorney supervision, and PI marketing agencies operating under the Partner program. Subscribers agree that the Service will be used in connection with plaintiff-side personal injury legal practice only. Use of the Service to support defense-side, carrier-side, or any non-plaintiff-aligned legal work is a material breach of these Terms and grounds for account termination without refund.

3. Subscription, billing, and cancellation

The subscription is $499 per month, billed monthly to the payment method on file. The 14-day free trial begins on account creation and requires no credit card at signup. To continue beyond the trial, the customer must add a payment method; otherwise the account is suspended at the end of the trial. Subscriptions renew automatically each month and may be cancelled at any time through the account dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing month; no pro-rata refunds are issued for partial-month cancellations.

4. Acceptable use

Customers agree not to (a) use the Service in a way that violates applicable law, (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying model or training data, (c) use the Service to support defense-side or carrier-side legal work as described in §2, (d) resell or sub-license access to the Service outside the Partner program, or (e) use the Service to harm, threaten, or defame any party.

5. Disclaimers

The Service produces statistical estimates of likely settlement value. It is not legal advice. Predict does not represent, warrant, or guarantee that any specific case will achieve the predicted value, or any value within the published confidence band. Attorneys remain responsible for all legal judgments, case-selection decisions, settlement negotiations, and demand-letter content. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Predict's aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the amount the customer has paid Predict in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability. Predict is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost business opportunities arising from use of the Service.

7. Intellectual property

Predict retains all rights to the Service, the underlying model, the proprietary training dataset, and all related software, documentation, and methodology. Customers retain all rights to their case data. Predictions generated by the Service may be used by the customer for any lawful purpose related to their plaintiff-side legal practice, including inclusion in demand letters, settlement memoranda, and mediation materials.

8. Confidentiality

Each party agrees to maintain the confidentiality of non-public information shared by the other party in connection with the Service. Customer case data is treated as confidential under the security controls documented on the security page.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. Predict reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including the plaintiff-only commitment, the acceptable-use provisions, or applicable law. Upon termination, the customer's data is handled under the retention and deletion policy on the privacy page.

10. Changes to these Terms

If we make a material change to these Terms, we will notify customers via email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
